Dear Members and Guests,

I admit I have a pretty cool job. Over the last few months, representing ClubCorp, I have had the opportunity to be interviewed by Jim Cramer on CNBC's Mad Money and attend the Bash for Augie's Quest, a remarkable ALS charity event for my friend Augie Nieto. I also have shared ClubCorp's story with more than 100 analysts and investors from coast to coast and have seen my terrific daughter Ashley give a speech in conjunction with an award the company received from the North Texas Chapter of the Association of the United States Army in recognition of our support of the men and women serving - and who have served - in the armed forces.

In addition, I have seen the remarkable transformation taking place at numerous clubs: the Clubs of Prestonwood in Dallas; Hackberry Creek Country Club in Irving, Texas; Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond, Okla.; Tower Club Tysons Corner in Vienna, Va.; and TPC Piper Glen in Charlotte, N.C., just to name a few. I also have met many new members at the nine clubs we have acquired in the past six months. The most consistent message I get from these members is "thank you for paying attention to us." Frankly, it is our pleasure. By investing in your clubs, you "reinvest" in us through your enjoyment of the club and numerous referrals.

Finally, kudos to Dallas and Brookhaven Country Club star Jordan Spieth for his historic success in the golf world. As someone noted on the Masters coverage, Spieth already had the Masters course record (60) at Brookhaven, so it was only fitting he should win "another" Masters. Jordan is just one of thousands of young people to grow up playing golf at ClubCorp clubs, and we are so proud of all our instructors and clubs for helping train future generations of golfers, tennis players, and all-around great young men and women.

On behalf of all of us at ClubCorp, we hope you have a wonderful summer.

With a fond farewell,

Eric Affeldt
