Canyon Crest Country Club Wins 2011 Jaguar ClubCorp Two-Person Best Ball at Firestone Country Club

DALLAS - After a round of golf on each of the three courses at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio, site of the World Golf Championships–Bridgestone Invitational, David Allen and Bob Green, two members from Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside, California, were the Overall Low Gross winners of the 2011 Jaguar ClubCorp Two-Person Best Ball Sept. 22-25, 2011. Jim Bryant and Pat Karis, members at Spring Valley Lake Country Club in Victorville, California, took home the honors of the Overall Net winners of the tournament.

The four-day tournament kicked off with a practice round of golf and a Jaguar Big Break-style competition for all the participants, during which the players competed in putting, chipping, The Lob Wall, The Slice Tower, and The Big Break. Pete Gebhart and Eric Kiesshauer from The Country Club of the South in Johns Creek, Georgia, came out on top, winning the Big Break Competition and along with it gift cards to the Firestone pro shop, which also were awarded to the second and third place teams as well.

Both of the winning teams received four-day and three-night stays at Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona, that include dinner and breakfast daily, a spa treatment for two, and two rounds of golf each at Gainey Ranch Golf Club.

Awards also were given out daily for on-course competitions of straightest drive and closest-to-the-pin and Jaguar's team of Product Specialists were on hand to offer test drives of their 2012 model vehicles.
