The world is watching intently as the biggest and the best LPGA stars battle it out during the first major on the LPGA tour, the 42nd annual Kraft Nabisco Championship, held April 1-7 at our beautiful Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
The tradition-rich event hosts more than 100 of the top LPGA golfers from all over the world and the prize is much more than a trophy.
The winner gets to share a place in history with some of the biggest icons in womens' golf, a chance to don the famous white robe and take the legendary leap into Poppie's Pond as champion.
In fact, this year is the 25th anniversary of the jump.
In 1988, Amy Alcott, overcome with her excitement after winning the Championship, made the original "splash heard 'round the world" and jumped into Poppie's Pond. The rest is history!

ClubCorp is so proud to be a part of this historic tournament, which has been held at the magnificent Mission Hills Country Club since the tournament's inception in 1972. Along with the Masters Tournament in Augusta, Ga., the Kraft Nabisco Championship boasts the longest run of any Major at a single venue.
We're so very honored to be its' host!
The deed is done!
ClubCorp's President and CEO Eric Affeldt put his hair where his mouth is and shaved his head on March 30 to raise much-needed funds for the St. Baldrick's Foundation and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children.
Although the event was for a serious cause, the atmosphere at Trinity Hall Irish Pub in Dallas was upbeat and spirited as families and friends cheered on dozens of other 'shavees' for the 10th Annual St. Baldrick's Day.
To date, Eric has raised almost $70,000 of his $100,000 goal! Well done!
