Commerce Club Member Helps Launch Official Women's Golf Day in Georgia
The Georgia General Assembly recently approved a resolution by Patrina King (pictured top photo, left), founder of Golf Women Mean Business and Member of The Commerce Club in Atlanta, to have June 6 recognized as Women's Golf Day in Georgia.
To mark this very special occasion, Members celebrated big – enjoying a full day of club-scheduled activities. Participants started the day with official remarks at the Georgia State Capitol; enjoyed lunch, a social reception, and a nine-hole contest at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge; and closed the day with a cocktail reception, formal dinner, and awards presentation at The Commerce Club.
Both clubs were happy to help celebrate this milestone for the state and show their support for all girls and women playing golf and learning skills that will last a lifetime.
