Hamlet Golf & Country Club will be hosting their 2nd Annual ClubCorp Charity Classic on Thursday, September 13, 2012. Each ClubCorp Club around the world hosts a charity event in an effort to support their local communities. There is something for everyone; golf, tennis, food, and music.
This year, one third of what the event raises will be given to Ascent, A School for Individuals with Autism. Ascent is a private, non-profit school for children diagnosed with autism and atypical pervasive developmental disorders. It provides a full day, 12 month academic and behavioral treatment program to preschool and school age children ranging in age from 3 to 21 years; Preschool to grade 12. Ascent primarily serves children with severe behavioral issues who have experienced failure in the continuum of available public special education settings and who require a high degree of individualized attention and intervention.
As a member of the community, we ask you to consider making a donation or becoming a sponsor for the ClubCorp Charity Classic as it is a very worthwhile event, which benefits not only this organization, but also MDA's Augie's Quest and ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation.
ClubCorp is making history. Thank you for being a part of it.
