JR Rosenbluth

Prior to joining Anthem Golf & Country Club, JR was the General Manager at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club in Coto de Caza, California.

JR has been in the food and beverage industry for the better part of 40 years, holding jobs from dishwasher to bartender to owner/operator of his own restaurant in Kingston, New York.

JR moved to Palm Desert in 1996 and has not looked back since. After working at The La Quinta Cliffhouse and then Tommy Bahama's in Palm Desert and Corona del Mar, JR took a brief hiatus from the food and beverage industry and went into real estate. Realizing that the mortgage business was not his calling, JR returned to the food and beverage industry in 2007 and was hired as the Service Director at Coto de Caza and promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2010 and later promoted to General Manager.

JR is a native New Yorker. 

Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown joined beautiful Anthem Country Club as the Membership Director in July of 2015. She relocated from another ClubCorp club, Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, California where she was the Membership Director from 2010 - 2015.

Originally from Bishop, California, Melanie has lived all around Southern California. Melanie was awarded Club100 in 2012, 2013 and 2015. She was also awarded President Club in 2013. On her free time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her sisters and family, volunteering at the dog shelter, hanging out with her friends, riding her horse and playing with her precious rescued puppy, Cookie!

Kathy Cuaderno

Kathy was born and raised in New Jersey.  After being an exchange student in High School to Paraguay South America, her interests were soon directed to international studies where she moved to Monterey California, to attend the Monterey Institute of International Studies.  She received her bachelor’s degree in International Policy Studies with an emphasis in Public Administration.

Immediately following college, Kathy met her husband Ken in Monterey and soon after had four beautiful children, Ryan, Megan, Austin and Kaitlyn.  Her career in the Hospitality and Food & Beverage industry began in college over 28 years ago at the Monterey Marriott.  Kathy worked for the Marriott Corporation for 16 years, which moved her career to Marriott's Mountain Shadows Resort & Golf Club in Scottsdale. 

Living in Anthem, Kathy soon joined the team at Anthem Golf & Country Club in the year 2000, after many long commutes to Scottsdale. Kathy's goal and passion, as the Private Events Director at the Club, are to create exceptional memorable events.  Kathy is a Beverly Clark Certified Wedding Professional who is honored to be part of a Club that has achieved the Couples' Choice Awards 2014 and Brides' Choice Awards 2013 and 2012 from WeddingWire. These two awards are determined by reviews from past clients and acknowledges the top 5% of local Wedding Professionals from the WeddingWire Network.

Trent Traylor

Trent’s love for the golf business began in Topeka, Kansas, picking the driving range at Shawnee Country Club.  Working his way up from there, he has held just about every position from range attendant to Director of Golf.  After graduating from the University of Kansas, Trent moved to Palm Desert, California to continue his golf career in a warmer climate. 

In 1998, he joined the ClubCorp family as Head Golf Professional at Desert Falls Country Club.  From there, it was on to Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, home of the LPGA Tour’s Kraft Nabisco Championship.  In 2008, he and his wife April moved to Anthem where he is Director of Golf. 

He and April have a daughter, Kloe and they love being part of the Anthem community.  

Kyle Lindert

Role: Head Golf Professional | Tournament Director

Kyle is class A PGA Professional (since 2012) and a graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan. While attending school he gained valuable experience during his internships at Geneva National Golf Resort in Lake Geneva, WI, Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon OR, and The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert, CA. Kyle has been working in the golf industry since 2007 and this is his second season at Anthem Golf and Country Club. The past few summers he has spent working at Maple Bluff Country Club as the Assistant Golf Professional in Madison, WI, near where he is originally from.
Kyle started playing the game at the age of 7 when his grandmother enrolled him in the junior program at a local country club in his hometown in Wisconsin. Ever since then he has had a love for the game that continues to grow stronger every year. He enjoys staying competitive by playing in section PGA events. Some of his career highlights include carding 2 eagles and one ace in the same round during the Southern California PGA Assistants Championship at The Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA, and this past summer he shot 69 to finish in a tie for 1st at a Wisconsin PGA event at Trappers Turn in Wisconsin Dells, WI.
He is very excited and honored play a large part in Golf Operation here at Anthem and is taking his first ever role as a Head Golf Professional.

Evan Terry

Evan has been in the Athletic Club and Golf industry for over 20 years here in the Valley and is a Phoenix native with a strong competitive sports background.  Prior to coming to Anthem in 2007, Evan has worked in the Valley for Shea Homes at Vistancia which is a Resort style community in the west Valley with a large scale Fitness, Spa and Tennis Club.  Evan spent 13 years with American Golf Corporation running their largest Fitness and Tennis Center at Arrowhead Country Club in Glendale, Arizona. 

Evan has extensive experience in club operations, event programming in athletics and tennis.  Evan played competitive Racquetball for many years as a top ranked amateur and touring professional.  

Evan and his wife enjoy spending time with their three young boys and actively coaching their sports interests. 

Chris Brewer

Chris has been in the Tennis Industry for more than 15 years with extensive experience as a competitive player an administrator.  Before moving to Arizona in 2005, Chris was the Head Professional at Bally Racquet Club in Kansas City, Missouri and served as Director of Tennis at Valley Oak Racquet Club in Red Bluff, California.  In 2010, he was honored with the USPTA Southwest Professional of the Year award.  He currently serves as Regional Vice President for the USPTA Southwest. 

Chris played collegially at the University of Northern Colorado where he graduated in 1998 with a BA in Journalism.  He also received his Masters in Organizational Management in 2004 from the University of Phoenix. Previously Chris has served as Director of Tennis at the Kiwanis Tennis Center in Tempe, Arizona as the Head Professional and Academy Director.  Chris was also the Tennis Supervisor at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex here in Arizona from 2007 - 2010. 

Chris has two children Mackenzie and Sam. Chris's goals always include growing the game of Tennis here at Anthem Golf and Country Club for all level players by creating a highly energized tennis programs and lessons.

Chelsea-Lyn Woodward

Chelsea-Lyn is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana and recently moved to Arizona from Baton Rouge. She graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Louisiana State University, specializing in Photography and Design. She brings a wide array of experience as her previous roles have always revolved around customer service, people management, communication through marketing and social media, and delivering solutions that meet client’s expectations.

Mark Lietzke

Role: Executive Chef

Mark comes to us from the Country Club of Hilton Head, where he has been the Executive Chef since August of 2007. He transferred from Shangri La Resort in Oklahoma to be the executive chef of the Daufuskie Island Resort when ClubCorp bought the old Melrose property and combined it with the Bloody Point Club.

Since leaving the 45 minute one way boat ride everyday, Chef Mark was the executive chef at Vino & Vittos and the Callawassie Island Club. During his tenure at CC of Hilton Head, Mark was awarded Club Corp’s Rising Star, Super Star, and a trip to ClubCorp’s custom training program at the Culinary Institute’s Greystone facility in Napa.

When not at the Club directly preparing or supervising the ala carte and banquet functions, you can find Mark playing with his stained glass and bonsai trees, or brewing his own wheat beer.  To relax, he has staring contests with his beagle Lucy, which she always loses.
