Prior to joining Anthem Golf & Country Club, JR was the General Manager at Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club in Coto de Caza, California.
JR has been in the food and beverage industry for the better part of 40 years, holding jobs from dishwasher to bartender to owner/operator of his own restaurant in Kingston, New York.
JR moved to Palm Desert in 1996 and has not looked back since. After working at The La Quinta Cliffhouse and then Tommy Bahama's in Palm Desert and Corona del Mar, JR took a brief hiatus from the food and beverage industry and went into real estate. Realizing that the mortgage business was not his calling, JR returned to the food and beverage industry in 2007 and was hired as the Service Director at Coto de Caza and promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2010 and later promoted to General Manager.
JR is a native New Yorker.
