Eric Bradley

Role: Head Golf Professional
Serving Since: 2018
Phone Number: 720.330.7121

Golf has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I played many junior golf tournaments, 4 years in High School, and then moved to Durango, CO to attend Ft. Lewis College where I played 4 years of college golf.

The golf industry seemed a logical direction for me to embark. My first Assistant Professional position was at Dalton Ranch and Country Club in Durango where I spent 2 seasons and then moved to Orlando and played competitively for a winter. Having some success, but not deep enough pockets, I accepted a job in Chicago at a 100-year-old private course, LaGrange Country Club, where I spent two seasons.

In 2000, I moved back to Colorado and spent three years at Cotton Ranch and Golf Club (now Gypsum Creek). During this time, in 2001, I had a son, Garrett, and then in 2003, my daughter Kaya was born. Two of the greatest highlights of my life! I next spent four years at Red Sky Golf Club and then in 2007, I was fortunate to get hired as the Director of Golf at Adam’s Mountain Country Club (now Frost Creek). This was an amazing experience as I really got to see a club start from the ground up!

In 2014, I took a job at Eagle Ranch, where I spent two and half seasons and at the beginning of 2016, I was offered the job as Head Golf Professional at the Pinery Country Club, which is what brought me down to the Parker area.

After one year, some changes occurred which landed me at Blackstone Country Club. This has been a wonderful blessing in my life and I’ve enjoyed a great first season getting to know the Members and staff here at the Club. I have recently moved to Black Bear Golf Club and I’m very excited to join the team there, while still getting to interact with many of the same Members!

I still love to compete in tournaments and play as much as I can. Some of my highlights are qualifying for the National Club Pro twice, winning the Colorado Assistants Championship in 2002, winning the West Chapter championship in 2004, and being named West Chapter Player of the Year and Assistant of the year in 2002. When I’m not playing golf or working, I love hiking, bowling and spending time with my wonderful girlfriend, and hanging out with my kids. I also enjoy mountain and road biking, running, working out and skiing!

Thank you to all the Members and staff at Blackstone and Black Bear for making my first season so enjoyable. Come see me if you need a tune-up on your golf game. I look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Ian Gant

Role: Superintendent
Serving Since: 2012

When I moved to Colorado in 2006, I had no idea I would have found my wife, started a family (3 year old, Tenley), and planted my roots in this beautiful state! I am originally from Walnut Creek , California. I came to Colorado to pursue Veterinary Medicine, but slowly started to figure out that I would rather be outdoors all day and spend my time around the game that raised me! I graduated from Colorado State University in 2011 with Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and a second Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Horticulture. My first job out of school was actually here at Black Bear! I then spent two seasons at Blackstone, and four of the past years as the Assistant Superintendent at The Pinery. Outside of work I love boating, hiking, snowboarding, painting, and the occasional DYI project! Black Bear Golf Club has many meanings for me and I am very excited to be here preserving its long history of great golf and providing the best conditions in Colorado!
