We will be hosting our annual Charity Classic event on Friday, September 27th. Each Club in the ClubCorp network hosts a charity event in an effort to support their local communities with a goal of raising $2 million this year. The Charity Classic events are the Club’s largest annual open house events. It is the one event each year where we open our private club doors to the general public to support many great causes enabling us to show off the Club to potential members. All proceeds collected goes equally to MDA Augie’s Quest, this year’s local charity the Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy, and the Employee Partners Care Foundation. Our event will feature a golf tournament with four-person teams playing a scramble format, followed by a wine festival with heavy hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, awards presentation and live entertainment. Net proceeds raised during the ClubCorp Charity Classic will be allocated to the following nonprofit charitable organizations: (i) MDA/Augie’s Quest, which supports worldwide research to eradicate Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS); (ii) ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation, a Section 501(c)(3) fund established to help Employee Partners and their families in need of financial assistance in times of crisis; and (iii) each club’s selected charity of choice.
