I grew up in the area and attended J.J. Pearce high school so I played Canyon Creek Country Club many times while on the golf team. I attended THE University of Texas (yes, I bleed burnt orange) and my career began after finishing school. My first job in the golf business was at the Kapalua Resort in Maui, Hawaii. After 10 years in Hawaii, I returned to Texas and was Director of Golf at Bentwater Country Club just outside of Houston. My ClubCorp career began in 2003 when I became Director of Golf at Stonebridge Ranch Country Club in McKinney. After 10 years at Stonebridge I moved to Brookhaven Country Club as Director of Golf and also served the North Texas Region as Regional Director of Golf, overseeing 14 clubs in North Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Colorado. My final 2 years at Stonebridge and during my tenure at Brookhaven, I also served as Assistant General Manager, mentoring under tenured Managers and training for my current position.
My family and I reside in McKinney. My wife, Bridget, and I have been married for 24 years and have 2 children. Our son Austin is 19 and a Sophomore at Oklahoma State University and our daughter Mackenzie is 15 and a Sophomore at Lovejoy High School.
Please feel free to reach out to me if I can assist you in any way.
