Adam Williams joins Capital City Club from the Citrus Club in Orlando where he was the Food and Beverage Director.  Adam began his hospitality career in 2000 with The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott hotels in Scottsdale Arizona, while attending Pan Am International Flight Academy. After the Ritz-Carlton Adam ventured into the independent restaurant business and was the Operational Partner for a locally grown restaurant chain, opening 14 corporate and franchise locations throughout the US. Before joining ClubCorp in 2014, Adam was a franchisee and partner for a well-known Central Florida restaurant company.

Adam has always had a passion for great food and wine, and is a certified sommelier from the court of Master Sommeliers. His focus each and everyday, is that each member and guest has an incredible experience, every time they are in the club. Adam and his wife Priscilla have 3 young boys. Austin, Aidan and Asher.

Angela is a native of Lancaster, SC and attended the University of South Carolina. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Administration. The majority of her professional career has been in sales with a focus in the medical industry. Throughout her career, the one thing that has remained constant is her sincere desire in meeting the needs of her customers and facilitating relationships. Angela joined our team in November of 2015 after relocating from Asheville, NC where she resided for the last 25 years. She has three children and a Golden doodle named Moe and spends her spare time focusing on her family and enjoying weekend getaways to Asheville and Charleston.

Ebony leads the Private Events Department in managing full-service events from concept to implementation. With over 10 years in the industry, she has skillfully executed events of all sizes in various sectors. Previously, she served as the Meetings & Exhibits Coordinator at the American Heart Association, Director of Catering at Lander University and the Catering & Operations Manager at the Dallas Museum of Art.

In 2008, she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Sport & Entertainment Management with a minor in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She completed graduate studies in Hospitality Management at the University of North Texas. Recently, she became a certified Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) through the National Restaurant Association.

Her goal is to develop events which provide strategic opportunities to serve all Partners with business, social, educational, civic and non-profit needs. With her culinary education and hospitality experience, she has the ability to integrate unique themes into menu’s and décor sure to exceed expectation. 

When she’s not working, Ebony loves spoiling her nieces and nephew, traveling, hiking, relaxing at a beach or a lake, cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks, serving in the community, and advancing her culinary skills.

Gracie Lathrop is a native to Columbia, SC and studied Fine Art at Clemson University. With her passion for connecting the community to the local arts Gracie stepped in to managing a contemporary art gallery in Charlotte, NC. After a move back to Columbia Gracie joined the team at the Capital City Club as Member Relations Coordinator where she is able to use her creative passions to plan unique Member programming.

Lydia Floyd

Lydia was born in Philadelphia and educated in the school system of Pennsylvania. Those schools include West Philadelphia High School, La Salle College (now a University) and Bucks County Community College. After leaving Pennsylvania, Lydia resided in several different states throughout the United States. Her career experiences have given her skills in a few different areas, such as banking, retail administration, importing and exporting, office management and administrative management.

Lydia is a member of The Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She arrived in Columbia, South Carolina, via Los Lunas, New Mexico, and is now sharing her skills and experiences at the “Front Desk” of The Capital City Club.

Teri Nichols

Teri has over 20 years of experience in front of the house and heart of the house operations, with experience in country clubs, hotels and with ClubCorp at the Citrus Club-Orlando, where she served as the Service Director and Acting Private Events Director. Her #1 goal is Member and guest satisfaction, while building a positive and motivational work environment. 

Teri has been to every state in the US (except Alaska) and enjoys trying new foods and fine wines. She is looking forward to enjoying Columbia’s fine foods, spirits and people, while being closer to her family.

 In her spare time, Teri enjoys being with family & friends and her baby-a Yellow Lab named Driver.

Mosley is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Atlanta and has over 10 years of experience in culinary arts, consisting of private aviation catering, fine dining restaurants, large scale hotels, and five star five diamond boutique hotels. While working at the St. Regis Hotel in Atlanta, Chef Mosley was a part of the number one culinary team in the Southeast region in Hotel, Restaurant and Lodging for 3 consecutive years. He is dedicated and eager to provide you a wonderful culinary experience.
