Chef Michael Schwartz has literally been a Chef his entire life, helping his father who was a Chef in the family restaurant at the age of seven. He has excelled in many different styles of cuisine including Creole, Classical French, New American/Californian and many more.
Chef Michael’s style can be defined as a blending of California and Classical French relying on a variety of fresh ingredients and a focus on flavor and presentation.
Chef Schwartz says his favorite part of being the Executive Chef of the Capital City Club is “when Members and their guests are ‘wowed’ by the flavors and presentation, and I know it was my hardworking team in the kitchen that made those magic moments happen – it really is the best feeling in the world!”
