Historic Hillsborough boasts southern charm, 18th and 19th century architecture, and a vibrant literary and artistic scene. It is also home to fantastic restaurants and a true farm-to-table vibe. On this walking tour, we'll talk with the Chefs and owners of several shops and restaurants, including the James Beard-nominated Panciuto. Along the way, we'll learn about Hillsborough's history and architecture and, of course, enjoy plenty of food and drink: gourmet coffees and famous scones, locally-sourced savory tastings paired with local beers and wines, and homemade pie and handmade chocolates. We will finish the tour with a wine tasting. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Walking distance is between one and two miles. Rain or shine. Transportation is on your own, or in The Carolina Club's Shuttle Bus (limited to the first 12 passengers).
