Carolina Club Business Builders
This group was developed to provide Business Members of The Carolina Club with the opportunity to meet other Business Members, enjoy educational events and promote their businesses services to the general membership. It is our on-going mission to continue to grow the value and opportunity to each and every CCBB member.
The Book Club meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm – newcomers are always welcome! We strive to offer a varied reading list that will appeal to everyone. Selections include local authors, nonfiction/biography, fiction, and a classic or two. Some months we hold informal discussion groups with background information provided, while other sessions include presentations by authors, professors, and other Club Members.
Calling all Women of The Carolina Club! Take a break from your busy life to socialize with old friends or meet someone new. On the second Wednesday of each month, we have programs meant to motivate, teach and inspire. We believe in interactive meetings to promote fun and relaxation.
Carolina Capital Partners
This Member Investment Club is made up of individual investors who pool their resources and invest in individual stocks. They meet the first Wednesday of eacn month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss specific companies, analyze their financial reports, their growth potential and consider investing. An Investment Club is a great way to learn about the stock market and sharing opinions with friends and associates.
One of our longest running and most successful traditions here at the Club is our Contract Bridge (or Progressive Bridge) Club. Bridge sessions are held in O’Herron’s Grill the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Although we try to keep the rules of bridge, there is not a serious attitude involved. Please call the Club Concierge at 919-962-1101 for reservations in advance, as we need to insure even tables of four.
The Young Professionals support The Carolina Club through the stability, growth and evolution of the Club’s current Members and prospective Members, age 40 and under, by enhancing Member value. Through advocacy, ambassadorship and leadership, the Young Professionals create an energetic and welcoming environment that fosters friendship and promotes young Member involvement.
