It is with a tremendous amount of respect and excitement that I address you as your new General Manager. The Carolina Club is one of the crown jewels in ClubCorp family and to be asked to work with the General Alumni Association is an honor I hold in very high regard.
My background in the hospitality industry stretches to nearly four decades covering guest service in many forms from private membership clubs to fabulous dining to overseeing many great sporting events. I started at the lowest rung of the ladder in my grandparents' restaurant, learning early the importance of respect and cooperation in the workplace, both of which are critical for success.The mantra, “Simple, but consistent”, was ingrained in me early and I hold onto it firmly as my experience grows.
The Carolina Club has rich and deep traditions. Our goals are to honor those valued practices of the Club’s history and also to create new and memorable occasions for Members and Alumni to enjoy. Being part of this in the near future is an opportunity that the staff and I look forward to very much.
Over the next several weeks and months I look forward to introducing myself to you and your family. We want The Carolina Club to be an integral and favorite location for your business, personal, family and social gatherings where your comfort is always recognized as a high priority.
