This is your basic risk-reward par-five…twice! From the tee, a long iron or hybrid short of the lake must be controlled between the out of bounds right, and the hazard left. The longest of hitters can actually try to go over the hazard on the left (a carry of about 280 yards), but you must stay left of the cart path if you choose this route. The green sits hard up against the lake and everything slopes right (toward the lake). A good drive can put you 200-230 yards away but the smart golfer will probably choose to lay up short of the green and the deep bunker on the left and take his chance chipping. The aggressive player can certainly reach the narrow green in two, but it is all carry over the lake, and a mistake will cost you strokes.
