Enjoy a 3 course dinner with author, Fred Bedelle. Dr. Fred Bedelle was the superintendent of Knoxville City Schools during the 1959 lawsuit that forced racial integration. The book is entitled "With All Deliberate Speed" by Dr. Fred Bedelle, Jr.

The book is a record of the desegregation lawsuit and the impact it had on the community in Knoxville. Dr. Bedelle was the key witness in the case, filed by Josephine Goss and 16 other students. The case claimed that the school district was in violation of the 1954 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Brown vs Topeka Board of Education. Dr. Bedelle interviewed Josephine Goss as well as many other witnesses of these events for first hand perspectives.

The book is available for $25 through Club LeConte.
