Tasting The Terms: Wine Words Put Into Practice

Ever wonder what someone means when they say a wine is acidic or tannic?
What about high alcohol or earthy or minerally?
Do you know what dry means?
How about oaky?
How do berry, citrus, apple, spice, or tobacco flavors express themselves in wine?

In this class we will talk about these terms, but more importantly…we’ll taste examples so you can know for certain what you’re experiencing and how to describe it. Here’s an opportunity to figure out what wine writers, bloggers, and wine snobs are talking about when they describe wine in these very industry-specific terms.

Join Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine, internationally followed wine blogger and podcaster, MBA, and owner of Wine For Normal People, Elizabeth Schneider as we translate these snooty terms into normal-people speak.
