Dress Code
From the Board of Governors
While traditional business attire is always appropriate, “Business Casual” is also welcome at the Club. The following is intended to clarify what will be allowed at the Club.
- Denim or “nice” jeans will be permitted in all areas of the Club with the exception of the Dining Room. The denim may not be faded or torn. The Member host of a private event or dining reservation will determine the appropriate attire for their event within the Club guidelines.
- A collared or banded neck, dress shirt or sweater must be worn with denim. No T-shirts, tank tops, tank-style undershirts or halter-tops will be allowed, regardless of logo or imprint.
- Gentlemen must wear jackets in the Dining Room in the evenings.
- Tennis shoes, sneakers (unless worn for medical reasons), flip-flops and other casual shoes are not permitted. Shorts, sweat suits, jogging/tennis and other athletic attire are never permitted. Members and guests will be turned away if dressed inappropriately.
The intent of the dress code is to maintain an environment that is comfortable to all Members and conducive to a private business club. As always, it is the responsibility of each Member to ensure that their invited guests are made aware of our dress code.
Acceptable attire anywhere in the Club:
- Business suits/sport coats
- Knit or casual shirts with collars
- Casual slacks or khakis
- Casual skirts and dresses
Unacceptable attire at all times, anywhere in the Club:
- Shorts
- Athletic wear (jogging suits, sneakers)
- T-shirts
- The host of a social or business event will determine the dress code for their private dining rooms.
- Club special events allow for deviations from the dress code from time to time.
We believe this new dress code policy is in keeping with the spirit of the Club and best serves the interest of the Membership at large. We look forward to seeing you in the Club as you continue to receive the same level of personalized service, quality of food and atmosphere as you have in the past.
