Paul has over 10 years experience in tourism and hospitality in Georgia. Most recently, he served as the Director of Visitor Information Services for the Georgia Department of Economic Development – Tourism Division. In this role, he oversaw the strategic direction and business development for the eleven state run visitor centers and their staff of eighty. Prior to that, Paul spent six years in sales and business development at The Georgia Aquarium. He was part of the original management team that created and implemented the call center and group sales ticket strategies.
Paul received his undergraduate degree in 1995 from the UC Santa Cruz in Marine Biology. During his time at the GA Aquarium, he returned to school and in 2010 received his MBA from the Cole’s School of Business at Kennesaw State University. He continues to volunteer at the school as a professional coach to executive MBA students and serves on KSU’s marketing advisory board.
