I am originally from Chicago, Illinois, but my family moved to Southern California in 1967. I have been married to my wife Gail for more than 26 years and we have two children, Shannon and Danny.

I have been in the golf business for more than 26 years. I began my golf career at Oakmont Country Club in Glendale during my senior year of high school, where I worked through junior college in the bagroom. Prior to Coto de Caza, I worked at Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge for 10 years. I have been fortunate enough to work at Coto de Caza for more than 10 years. I won two coveted "Putter Boy" trophies at Pinehurst, one from the 1997 City Club Championship with Detroit Society, and the other during my first year with Coto de Caza in 2000.
