|Role:||Golf Course Superintendent|
Brian joined the Countryside Country Club team in August of 2017. Originally from North Carolina, he began a career in the golf course maintenance industry by pushing a mower and raking traps at Highlands Country Club, in 1990. After a couple seasons he fell in love with the work as well as the game. Brian then went into the Turf Grass Management Program at North Carolina State University and graduated in 1996.
He then returned to his home club as the assistant superintendent for his first few professional years. Along the way, Brian has been an assistant superintendent in Philadelphia, and California at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, where he succeeded the Superintended position in 2002. After 15 years in California, he made his way back to the Southeast to be closer to his Family who still resides in North Carolina. Brian is very excited for the opportunity to serve Countryside Country Club and look forward to forging new relationships with our members as well as co-workers.
