Ian started his career with ClubCorp at Countryside Country Club in 1991.  Ian's career path starting out consisting of many different tasks in the Clubhouse.  He started off working winters in the golf cart barn, he taught scuba, swim team and taught swim lessons in the summer months.  From 1992 - 2002 Ian was the Bar Manager but managed to continue his passion teaching kids in the water.

Ian is currently certified through Scuba Schools International, is a Certified Pool Operator, and Red Cross Lifeguard / CPR Instructor.

Ian not only is incharge of the daily pool maintenance & operation, but he is also the coach of (3) different swim team leagues.
The Countryside Dolphins is Countryside's summer league team consisting of approximately 180 swimmers.

The T-Bay year-round swim team is a silver medal level 2 Club rated by USA Swimming.  Many of his swimmers have received college schlorships all around the United States recognized for their superior sport of swimming.

Ian has been coaching the Countryside High School Swim & Diving Team since 1998.  Ian has been honored as Pinellas Country Coach of the Year 2002, 2004 & 2009.  In his spare time, which isn't a lot because he is spending most of his weekends on the pool deck at swim meets, Ian enjoys riding his bike, going to the beach, and just relaxing enjoying life.
