2016 Summer Tennis Programs  

Our junior tennis program includes camps, clinics and leagues.

Our summer clinics are designed for juniors of all ages and abilities. This year we will introduce 12 and Under Tennis for kids under 12 years old.  Shorter courts, smaller racquets, softer balls and modified scoring all help young children achieve success from the very start and create a lifetime love for the sport.  Focused instruction from former ATP players, USPTA professionals, with assistance from college and high school tennis players, will show more advanced juniors what is needed and how to achieve the elite level in tennis.

Hots Shots

  • Monday: 12:30 - 1:30 p.m.
  • Daily Rate: $20 member/ $24 non-member

Games and lots of fun are a huge part of Hot Shots tennis. 12 and Under Tennis with foam balls and miniature nets are our main focus. Instruction is positive and friendly.

Advanced Beginner/ Intermediate

  • Monday and Wednesday: 4 - 5:30 p.m.
  • $60 member/ $75 non-member
  • Daily Rate: $37 member/ $45 non-member

Basic strokes and grips are reviewed and players begin to develop technique and better stroke mechanics. Drills are designed to teach players to sustain a rally in a competitive situation.  Instruction is specific and challenging with positive  reinforcement.

Tennis Academy

  • Monday and Wednesday: 2 - 4 p.m.
  • $80 member/ $95 non-member
  • Daily Rate: $45 member/ $56 non-member

Lead by Director of Tennis, Steve Ward, with assistance from the tennis staff, this clinic will focus on players striving to play at a competitive level (high school or USTA tournaments).  Students will concentrate on strokes and footwork. This clinic will also include point play, technical drills and fitness.
