My name is Ni Wang, I live in Debary Plantation with my family and I love this beautiful community.
I am so happy that I will have the opportunity to teach yoga at Debary Golf and Country Club.
I took my first Yoga class back in 2007 and after several years of practice I became a certified yoga instructor by taking a 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training course with Michel Besnard who has over 50 years teaching experience. From this training, I learned that yoga is not just a physical, but also a spiritual journey. Through yoga we learn many things like to live in the present and through the practice we gain strength, flexibility, improve posture, and lose weight. We increase our concentration, self-acceptance, mental awareness and confidence.
With all these great benefits, I hope that you will join me here at Debary Golf and Country Club. We will be offering 2 classes each week:
- Monday Morning (Hatha Yoga) 9:30am – 10:30am
- Wednesday Morning (Flow Yoga) 8:30 am – 9:30am
Hatha Yoga is a gentle, slow paced style focusing on controlling and holding a pose for a short time.
Flow Yoga is focused on matching movement with breath.
No previous yoga experience needed, all levels are welcome.
Please dress in comfortable, stretchable clothes. Bring a yoga mat, small towel or anything else that you feel you might need.
