Gleneagles Swim Team is a recreational summer program (for children between the ages of 5 and 15) designed to be fun and instructional.

We focus on stroke mechanics combined with strength training and conditioning. Our coaches are all former competitive swimmers and/or certified lesson instructors. We offer both competitive and non-competitive options in addition to both morning and afternoon practices.

Swim Team practices begin Wednesday, May 28 with our morning practices tentatively beginning Tuesday, June 3.

The season runs through mid-July.

*The cost of swim team includes a swim suit, swim team shirt and a cap. Goggles and other swim merchandise may be purchased for additional costs. Competitive fee also includes entry fee for Championship Meet and access to Team Unify.  Clinics are in addition to basic fee for swim team.

**Most children participate as “competitive” swimmers, which simply means that they attend and take part in the swim meets. Some reasons why a family might choose “non-competitive” include: very young children who are not ready for meets, families who are going to be out of town a lot during the summer, or perhaps children are only interested in the fitness aspect of swimming.

SWIMMING LESSONS

Swimming lessons at Gleneagles are taught by our instructors who are certified in the American Red Cross Water Safety Instruction program. This program is designed to start teaching children generally around the age of three. We offer private and semi-private lessons. Lessons are scheduled at the mutual convenience and availability of the Member and instructor. Our instructors will be available to teach lessons soon after the pool opens; availability is limited, so call early to register!

Private Lessons: $30 per child (30 minutes)

Semi-private (two children): $22 per child (30 minutes)

*Our swim lesson program is for members only; however if your child has a friend who would like to participate in a semi-private lesson with your child, we are happy to make accommodations.
