Michael Peabody

Michael Peabody was born and raised in Monterey, California. After being granted a Track and Field Scholarship from Sacramento State University, he relocated to the area to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing.

Michael brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from his 17-year career within the Food and Beverage industry. Michael has held the following positions: Operations Director, General Manager, Beverage Director and Private Events Director for a handful of elite restaurateurs including The Shakes and Three Sons LLC. His passion and enthusiasm for wine lead him to become a Level 2 Sommelier and in 2014 Michael was brought on to be the Operations Manager at Granite Bay Golf Club.

Michael currently resides in Roseville with his girlfriend Christine and daughter Eva.  When not at the club, you can find Michael on the golf course, wine tasting, or involved in any and all sporting activities.

William Graber

I am the private events director here at Granite Bay and have held that position since 1999. Prior to that, I was the PED for four years at the University Club atop Symphony Towers in San Diego. I am also a West Coast Regional PED Field Specialist and currently working on the National Private Event Task Force. I worked for Marriott Hotel and Resorts for 13 years in various food & beverage positions before coming to ClubCorp in 1995. My loving wife, Coleen, and I have two boys, Steven and Brian.

It would be my pleasure to assist you in any way with corporate, social or tournament events here at Granite Bay where our “over-the-top” service and “can-do attitudes” are evident in everything we do.

Kelle Collier

Kelle was born and raised in Northern California and moved to the Sacramento area in 2000 to attend California State University, Sacramento where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel Marketing and Design. She went on to study the art of Wedding Consulting at California State University, East Bay in 2005 and has been working in the wedding and events industry ever since!

Kelle’s career with ClubCorp began in 2015 at Granite Bay and in 2016 was inducted into The President’s Club. With over 13 years in the industry, Kelle has planned everything from small intimate social events to large lavish over the top weddings and everything in between.

Kelle enjoys spending time with friends and family attending local events. She loves to garden, travel and hopes to one day be a contestant on The Amazing Race. She is a fanatic about the San Francisco 49ers & Giants and has an obsession with all things design related.

Matt Dillon

Role: Golf Course Superintendent

I have been a golf course superintendent for more than 30 years in the Sacramento Valley and Foothill region. I have been a superintendent at local ClubCorp properties for 10 years and at Granite Bay since November of 2007. I enjoy the challenges presented by this unique course and welcome all comments and suggestions from our Members. 

Robert Smith

Robert’s instructional career spans over 25 years and over 30,000 golf lessons to all age and ability levels. Goal setting, physical fitness, proper equipment, body mechanics, and mental performance enhancement all contribute toward his student’s success stories.

Students can contact Robert at rsmith@pga.com or 916.606.0984 to schedule a golf lesson or a variety of  Mental Performance Program sessions offered. Successful Mental Sport programs include golf, baseball, basketball, hockey, academic, gymnastics, diving while specializing in competitive figure skating.

Ryan Toms

Role: Mackenzie Grille Manager

Ryan is a native to Northern California, born in the bay area and raised in Rocklin, California. After working throughout high school in a small town restaurant, Ryan captured his passion for food by attending the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.

Upon graduation, he took a position at The Kitchen Restaurant in Sacramento where he honed his culinary skills on stage and discovered his enthusiasm interacting with guests.

After leaving the Kitchen Restaurant, he worked as a bartender and server at a location that allowed him to marry all the best of his kitchen knowledge with his interpersonal skills to create the customer experience he is so devoted to. Since then, he has had the opportunity to pursue his Food and Beverage career as a Manager at various local restaurants and is excited to bring his knowledge and affection for the dining experience to Granite Bay Golf Club.

When not working, Ryan is spending time with his wife and new son Finnley, he loves golf, the SF Giants and bringing family and friends together for a good
time regardless of the reason.

Chef Roderick

Role: Head Chef

Head Chef Rod Williams was born and raised in Sonoma, California. He spent several years in Colorado, Miami and NJ working in multiple restaurants and learning as many different styles and cuisines as possible.

In his late twenties, Rod moved back to his hometown of Sonoma and again immersed himself in multiple local restaurants, where he developed his signature style of California cuisine using the bountiful supplies of local meats, cheeses, and produce that Sonoma has to offer.

After a long stint as Chef de Cuisine at the world-renowned Sonoma Mission Inn, he moved to Lincoln with his wife to start a family. He loves gardening, backpacking and spending quality time with his family.

Chef Rod is excited to bring his talents to Granite Bay Golf Club members and guests focusing on fresh seasonal flavors.
