Carol has a long history with and passion for the private club industry, which began over 25 years ago. Her main focus is in sales, membership marketing and private events. Prior to Hackberry, she was with American Golf, as Regional Director of Private Events for both public and private clubs in the central region. In addition, she has held positions with several private clubs, and was the recipient of the Colorado Club Managers Scholarship Award. She most recently achieved ClubCorp’s prestigious Club 100, and the National Presidents Club award for outstanding achievements at Hackberry.
Amanda Tulloch was born and raised here in Dallas, TX. She has had 10, plus years devoted to the hospitality industry working from upscale restaurants to private and golf courses. She found her passion for events working as the wedding coordinator at The Tribute Golf Club, and is excited to bring all her knowledge to the Hackberry Creek Family.
Golf is her number one pass time, and enjoys playing any chance she gets.

Brian Tennery was born and raised in Maryland. He’s a graduate of The American University, in Washington, D.C., where he played #1 singles and doubles, was the team captain, and the MVP at this division I school.After college he traveled internationally and throughout the United States, as a member of Dennis Van der Meer’s staff, teaching tennis camps for adults and juniors, and the “Tennis University”, a course for aspiring tennis professionals. Van der Meer is widely regarded as one of the foremost tennis teachers in the world.He was the Director of Tennis at Lakewood C.C., a member owned country club, north of Washington, D.C., for 26 years.Brian is a member of the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) with a “Professional” rating; and is a National Clinician & Tester. He was 2011 PTR Member of the Year, for the state of Texas; and was the Chairperson of the International Testers Committee.Brian is married to Elayne, and they have 5 children, and 2 grandchildren. He’s been the Hackberry Creek C.C. Director of Athletics since 2011.
Branden is a certified PGA professional who grew up in Northern Wisconsin. He received a Golf and Basketball scholarship to play for Mountain State University. After college, Branden moved to Miami, Florida where he worked his way up to Lead Instructor & Head Golf Professional at Doral Golf Resort home of the Blue Monster. During this time as the Lead Instructor he worked with some of the best instructors from the Jim McLean Golf school overseeing several programs. Being in the golf industry for over 10 years, Branden has previously served at a number of facilities, ranging from high-end private Clubs to resorts. His teaching history includes being the Head instructor for the city’s troubled youth after school program in Florida with over 50 students and South Florida Special Olympic Program where he implemented new programming for their section. During his time he had the opportunity to instruct the youngest female ever to play in the US Open.
Branden’s approach to teaching students varies depending on the person; no player is the same. He believes the talent is in the player, and he wants to help educate students on why they do what they do. His goal has always been to provide unprecedented services to guests while creating quality programs that they will enjoy. Teaching the fundamentals and taking the time to listen to the student is very important to him. He is a firm believer in practice with a purpose and uses drills to keep the game exciting. Branden’s experience as an amateur player taught him the value of a strong mental game and the importance of strength and flexibility. Whether you’re just starting to play the game or you’re a bit more advanced, Branden wants to help you reach your goals. He values the tradition of the game, and he wants to share that with his students.
In his spare, time Branden enjoys golfing and watching sports. He is a huge Wisconsin Badgers fan.
Michelle started her career with ClubCorp in May 2005 as an intern for the athletic department and then was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director at Downtown Club at the Met in Houston, Texas. She now serves as the fitness director at Hackberry Creek Country Club.
As a child, Michelle was a competitive gymnast, and in recent years, has developed a passion for cycling (endurance). She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from University of Texas at Austin and is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and the Red Cross. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and puppy. She looks forward to helping you meet your fitness goals.

Luis Garcia started his career with ClubCorp back in 1995. He has over 20 years experience in Restaurant, Hotels and Corporate Dinning. He studied Food and Hospitality at a Dallas Community College. He not only has experience in the kitchen but also in managing restaurants. He has opened and run several small privately owned restaurants all while working non-stop for ClubCorp where he was promoted as our Executive Chef back in 2013.
Luis has received several awards for his culinary, personal and leader skills not only from our club but also from ClubCorp.
When not working, Luis enjoys family time with his wife Elizabeth and two children, Emily and David and dog Rebel.
Jherad came to us from The Woodlands, TX just North of Houston where he was Service Director at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer for 3 1/2 years. Prior to that he has worn multiple hats in Food & Beverage Management over the past 12 years for multiple clubs.
He has been married to his wife, Taylor, for two years and they have an 18 month little boy, Dominic. In his spare time Jherad enjoys spending time with his family and participating in all things sports. His favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Bulls, and Cubs. He also is a big fan of wine and craft beer.
