Jason Kahner

Jason Khaner, our new General Manager at The Hamlet, comes to us with a 20 + year background as a versatile hospitality executive. His first foray into the hospitality business was as the Director of Convention Services at New York’s Hotel Pennsylvania. He next opened and operated the waterfront restaurant and marina, Oakland’s Restaurant & Marina in Hampton Bays, NY. Jason was the Regional Director of Catering/Food & Beverage for the American Golf Corporation. Prior to joining American Golf, Jason was employed in management positions for Restaurant Associates.   

Jason was also the General Manager of Caroline’s Comedy Nation, located in Times Square in New York City. Jason comes to us directly from Southern Trace Country Club a ClubCorp property in Shreveport LA and is thrilled to be back home on Long Island .  In his free time Jason enjoys golf, playing guitar and is an avid New York sports fan. Mets, Giants, Knicks and Rangers!

Hillary Epstein

Hillary Epstein began her career with ClubCorp at The Hamlet Golf and County Club the day it was purchased in June of 2011. At that time Hillary was brought in as the Private Event Director. After two successful years in events at The Hamlet the position of Membership Director opened up and Hillary stepped into her new role. "In events you build relationships with people and when their event ends you often do not see them again. As Membership Director the relationships built carry on...this is my favorite part of my new role. You join a Country Club to enrich your life, as Membership Director this is what I get to help my Members do, every day."

Tara Booth

Tara has been the Member Relations Director at The Hamlet since May of 2013.  Before that, she had been the dining room supervisor since 2009. 

With 15 years experience in hospitality and a degree in Business Management, Tara made it a priority to make her Members happy and always provide those special Magic Moments.  Now as the Member Relations Director, Tara takes pride in assuring great experiences for her Membership.

Stacy Allen

Stacy Allen has been orchestrating events for over 20 years. She comes to ClubCorp from the Gold Coast DuPont Estate, bringing her zest and professional experience. Her goal is to enhance Private Events for both members and clients.
Stacy enjoys building personal relationships with clients and vendors, concentrating on the smallest detail (which turns out to be the most important), when working to create their perfect party. This is truly the key to making each event a unique and genuine reflection of each client!

Over the course of her career she has planned lavish events for Celebrities, Wall Street, Galas, Weddings and Calvin Klein Worldwide. From Ballroom, Boardroom, to Runway innovative personalized flawless attention to detail and passion reflects in each event. Her mantra which she lives by “Every day is a Party!”

Bruce Moodnik

Bruce has been the Head Tennis Professional at The Hamlet Golf and Country Club for the past four seasons, and has been teaching tennis on Long Island for many years. He has been a Tournament Director for both Adult and Junior Leagues for various Long Island indoor tennis facilities. Bruce specializes in Adult, Junior lessons private or group, as well as singles and doubles strategy. He has coached many USTA teams to regional, sectional, and national tournaments. Bruce, over his long career has created some of the most innovative, and enjoyable social tennis events on Long Island. Bruce's enthusiasm and passion for tennis creates a wonderful learning environment for adults and children of all ages.

Maryann Pellegrino

I began my employment at the Hamlet on Old Oyster Bay in 2004 as a concierge, after a career of 15years in Personnel, modern day-Human Resources. Since my transfer to the Hamlet Golf and Country Club in 2005, I have been happily serving the membership & greeting our guests from the ‘window’ anything from reservations to member events or just plain good conversation.  My husband and I reside in Dix Hills with our 3 daughters who attend school in the Commack School District.  

Jim Farrell

Jim is a PGA Class “A” Member who brings over 25 years of experience in the golf industry to The Hamlet.  Born and raised in Syosset NY, Jim went to Long Island Lutheran HS and later graduated college from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas.  There, Jim met his wife Amy and today have three children. James, Patrick and Natalie.

Jim got his start in the golf industry at The Town of Oyster Bay Golf Club in 1990 and then went back to Kansas where he worked as an assistant at Mission Hills and Blue Hills Country Clubs.  In 2000, Jim began a seven-year career as the Head Golf Professional at Oakwood CC, a private club located in Kansas City, MO.  In 2007, Jim moved back to the Island where he took on the position as the Head Golf Professional at Muttontown CC until 2009.  Recently, Jim has been the Director of Instruction / First Assistant at The Creek Club in Locust Valley.

Jim is an accomplished teacher, merchandiser & tournament coordinator who has served on the Midwest Section PGA Board of Directors, the Metropolitan PGA Section Assistants Board and has been the Midwest Section Tournament Chairman.  Jim is also an accomplished player who most recently won the Long Island Open in 2015.  Jim has been recognized both locally and nationally as an accomplished club-fitter and in 2004 was named Callaway Golf’s “Golf Professional of the year.”
