Top-rated Houston indoor tennis facility

The Houston City Club has taken indoor tennis in Houston to an entirely new level! Our sprawling, state-of-the-art facility features 10 indoor, air-conditioned USTA-specified tennis courts that feature DynaCushion surface for medium speed, playing and comfort, as well as indirect lighting fixtures for non-glare. In January 2014, we upgraded our east & west wing tennis court lights for a total of $20,000 improvements. It is so bright that you need sunglasses!

Each Houston tennis court within the Club is regulation sized, has a 40-foot court height, and is separately enclosed. In August of 2010, we upgraded our lighting and resurfaced all of the tennis courts for a total of $100,000 in improvements.  Other Houston tennis clubs simply pale in comparison!

A full-time, professional tennis Houston staff directs a wide assortment of exceptional year-round tennis programs including private and group Houston tennis lessons, junior tennis camps, clinics, exhibitions, drills, Houston tennis leagues, and regularly scheduled tournaments.

Over the years, The Houston City Club proudly has hosted some major events here at the Club including The Elton John Charity Classic that included Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, Billie Jean King and 12 other grand slam winners.  Zina Garrison Charity which featured eight out of the top 10 current female players in the world.  Plus, we hosted the Lemaster Husband/Wife Tennis Tournament for 25 years.

We are most proud of the longest running Pro-Am tennis tournament in the world which is called The Tracy Gee Memorial Tournament.  The Tracy Gee's major sponsor is Mission Constructors.  All proceeds for this Memorial Pro-Am go to the Star Of Hope.
