I was born in a small town in Northern Idaho and was raised on a cattle ranch. I began my career in golf at age sixteen, when my family purchased a small nine hole golf course in our town. I spent my summers, and any other time the weather cooperated, on that golf course. After high school, I went to college on a basketball scholarship and coached high school basketball after that.
In 1995, I joined the American Golf Corporation and spent the following fourteen years working at various clubs, including three in Las Vegas: Las Vegas National, Painted Desert and Badlands. I also spent some time in The Colony, Texas at The Tribute Golf Club and in Tulsa, Oklahoma at The Golf Club of Oklahoma.
In January 2008, I joined Club Corp and moved to Austin, Texas. I was General Manager of The Hills of Lakeway, which consisted of seventy two holes of golf, four clubhouses and the World of Tennis Athletic Center, until January 2015, when I accepted the position as General Manager at the Las Colinas Country Club. On the personal side, I have a twenty eight year old son who lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho and a girlfriend of two years, who teaches in the Irving Independent School District.
I am honored to be the General Manager at the LCCC and always look forward to spending time with our members and guests.
