|Role:||Director of Golf|
Born in Jacksonville, Texas in 1957, I have been involved with golf most of my life. My father was both a golf professional and a course maintenance superintendent. My brother is a PGA Professional and golf course designer. I was introduced to the game by my father at age 5, and knew right away I wanted to stay involved with golf for as long as I had the opportunity.
I graduated with a Business degree from Sam Houston State University in 1980, where I was a two-time All-American, Lone Star Conference Medalist and member of the National Championship Team in 1978,1979, and 1980. I was inducted into Sam Houston State University Hall of Honor in 1994. Career highlights are qualifying and participating in the 1988 U.S. Open Championship at The Country Club in Brookline, MA and playing 58 holes in 1997 at Augusta National Golf Club.
I have been a member of the ClubCorp family and had the privilege to serve the membership of Las Colinas Country Club for more than 10 years. My role at Las Colinas Country Club is to ensure the golf experience for Members and guests is both enjoyable and memorable.
I have been married to my wonderful wife, Kristy, for more than 26 years! We have two fantastic children, Trent born in 1992, and Jessica born in 1995.
