Spring Junior Tennis Academy
Welcome to Lost Creek Tennis Academy! For over 40 years, our junior tennis programs have been amongst the highest in excellence within the Austin community. If you are looking for a mix of highly qualified and approachable staff, family atmosphere, and an environment that INSPIRES, you have come to the right place. We are known for “growing” our tennis players, as our grassroots program has been recognized over the years by top professionals. Our junior program includes drills, strategy talks, games and competitive play, along with mental and conditioning training. Preparation, self-confidence, and love of the game are all primary focuses of our award-winning junior program.

36’ Red / 60’ Orange / 78’ Green (Mon-Thu 4:00-5:00pm)
The primary focus of this class will be to enable students 4-10 years old to experience tennis “play”. Through the use of modified equipment, and age/size appropriate courts, we will introduce technical parameters and basic tactical strategies. Basic athletic development, such as sending and receiving skills, will be emphasized at the Red and Orange ball level to provide a basic framework and confidence in point play. Through the use of the Green dot decompression ball, students will be introduced to controls and rallying through the use of live ball noncompetitive and competitive drills. There will be an on-going emphasis on athletic development and match play.

Junior Academy (Mon-Thu 5:00-6:30pm)
This program is designed for students of all levels 11 & older, including juniors 10 & Under participating in ZAT Tournaments and competitive play. Agility, strength training, and athletic development will be part of every class. Each academy student will receive complimentary consultation regarding goal setting, tournament planning, and navigating the competitive pathway of USTA Texas.

High Performance (Tue-Thu 4:30-6:30pm)
This program is designed for students currently participating in the USTA competitive pathway and competing at Champ/Super-Champ level. With an emphasis on high performance training and tournament play, this class will provide competitive controls and situational match play, as well as athletic development and competitive mindset.

Strength & Conditioning Class (Tue-Thu 6:30-7:00pm)
Agility, balance, strength, fun, relays, endurance, basketball and other games…Coach Adam Smith is making sure our juniors get a full understanding of sports and acquire the fundamentals of well-rounded athletes.
Cost: $10 per class
