A Catalyst/Harvard Business School report shows that women’s full leadership engagement results in higher business profitability and corporate social responsibility. What are business and the media doing to inspire females to be successful? Womenetics is hosting a groundbreaking conference that seeks to reverse stereotypes and advance gender equality. The conference will examine actions needed to provide aspirational role models and realistic portrayals that will foster a culture of success for women in society and in business. Noted thought leaders will explore ideas and strategies to create positive change for women – and men – in the workplace and inspire the next generation of female leaders.

Speakers:

Abigail Disney, filmmaker and philanthropist. Her documentary, "Pray the Devil Back to Hell" and the PBS series, "Women, War & Peace," have inspired and empowered women on a global level Dr. Jean Kilbourne, renowned filmmaker/writer, a pioneer in the study of women’s portrayal in advertising

Maria Wynne, CEO for Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana

Julia Cloud, managing partner for the private company services practice at Deloitte LLP and managing partner for Deloitte's Women's Initiative
