Set Up a TourWe ask our Members and guests to cooperate with Club Staff and respect other Members by following the dress code. It is the responsibility of each Member to tell their guests about the dress code. The dress code also applies to children 11 and older.
Dining
Main Dining Room
- Appropriate Golf approved turtlenecks and mock turtleneck shirts are allowed.
- Men’s shirts must be tucked in. Island resort wear and Camp shirts that are square around the bottom may be left untucked.
- Shorts for both men and women must fall no more than four inches above the back of the knee. Cargo pants, cargo shorts and mini skirts are not allowed.
- Denim of any kind is not allowed.
- Shorts are not allowed after 5 pm from November 1 to April 30.
- Spaghetti strap, halter and strapless dresses and blouses are allowed.
- Jogging shorts and tennis, exercise and swim apparel are not allowed.
- Men must remove caps, hats and visors.
- Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
Clubhouse Lounge and Clubhouse Veranda
Above dress code in the Main Dining Room is in effect in the Lounge, in addition to the following:
- Caps, hats and visors can be worn with the bill facing forward.
- Appropriate tennis and croquet attire is allowed.
- Members and guests may wear tasteful and appropriate denim, cargo pants and cargo shorts. They may not have any rips, holes or frayed seams. Club management reserves right to determine what is tasteful and appropriate.
Fifty Fifth, Courtside Café and Café Veranda
Above dress code in the Clubhouse Lounge is in effect in these areas in addition to the following:
- Fitness attire is allowed.
- Collarless and sleeveless shirts are allowed, but tanktops are not.
- Swim attire with a cover-up is accepted only in the Courtside Café and Veranda.
Golf
On the course, driving range and practice facilities:
- Denim of any kind is not allowed.
- Collarless shirts for men are not allowed.
- Golf-approved turtlenecks and mock turtleneck shirts are allowed.
- Men’s shirts must be tucked in. Island resort wear and Camp shirts that are square around the bottom may be left untucked.
- Shorts for both men and women must fall no more than four inches above the back of the knee.
- Tasteful cargo pants and cargo shorts are allowed. They may not have any rips, holes or frayed seams. Club management reserves right to determine what is tasteful and appropriate.
- Women must have either sleeves or a collar on their shirts. Bare midriff styles are not appropriate, including halter-tops, spaghetti straps, tank tops, swimsuits, cutoff tops or any midriff-length shirt. Low-rise pants must have shirt tucked in or shirt must fall below the top of the pants.
- Jogging shorts, and tennis or exercise apparel are not allowed.
- Caps can be worn with the bill facing forward.
- No flip-flops or street sandals are allowed.
- Metal spikes are not allowed.
- The golf professionals and staff monitor and enforce proper golf attire.
Tennis on the courts:
- Only tennis shoes (no black soles) are allowed on the courts.
- All players are required to wear proper tennis attire.
- Cutoffs, exercise attire, tank tops, t-shirts, cargo pants and cargo shorts are not allowed.
Croquet on the courts:
- Players should wear croquet whites, shirts with collars, slacks or Bermuda-length shorts and flat-soled shoes.
Spa & Sports Center
- No denim of any kind is allowed in the workout area.
- Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
- Only athletic shoes are allowed in the workout area.
- No belts are allowed on the weight equipment.
Pool Complex
- Proper swimwear is required.
- Cutoff jeans and denim are not allowed.
- Nude bathing is not allowed.
