I grew up in Missouri and graduated from Missouri State where I played NCAA Division I tennis. After graduation I was accepted into the prestigious USPTA Tennis Tech Program in Tyler, TX where I gained my United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Certification. I went back to Missouri to work for two years where I experienced a wide range of tennis programming, special events, and competitive junior instruction. While there I was selected by Billie Jean King to coach the Missouri Valley – USTA national team where we finished 2nd nationally. I also played as an alternate for the World TeamTennis Springfield Lasers pro tennis team. I left Missouri for Texas to become the Tennis Director for the City of Denton where I worked for eight years. I made the jump from Public Tennis Programming to Oakmont in July of 2009.
With over 12 years of teaching experience I continue to work to grow all aspects of tennis at Oakmont. I look forward to seeing you on the tennis courts real soon.
