Porter Valley Country Club
James began his career with ClubCorp in the Business and Sports division at the prestigious Tower Club in Tysons Corner, Virginia. He served as Executive Chef until his relocation to Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge, California. James ultimately led the food and beverage team to achieve tremendous success in the key areas of retention and Member and Guest satisfaction. James was also in charge of the restaurant operations at Braemar Country Club in Tarzana, California.
In addition to the above locations, James’ culinary career has taken him to fine dining and boutique inn venues from New Orleans to New York and places in between. James earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from The State University of New York at Albany, where he had the opportunity to complete ethnological field surveys from New York to New Mexico. James brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and leadership to Porter Valley Country Club.
James enjoys carving up the desert canyons on his motorcycle and more importantly, enjoying precious time with his wife and son.
