Learn more about this incredible nonprofit, while helping them raise funds!
Community OutReach Partnership, founded in 1985, is a non-sectarian volunteer group that creates and manages the social outreach programs of Trinity Memorial Church.
Its programs provide direct front-line help to the homeless, hungry, elderly, or otherwise needy in the City of Philadelphia.
Through our continuing compassionate action we work to build and strengthen our community.
We do this by involving a growing number of individual volunteers in our programs, which include:
WinterShelter, a homeless shelter for 22 men during the five coldest months of the year
Communicare volunteers serve the Philadelphia frail elderly population one-on-one in a variety of ways, filling in for lost family and friends.
Cook-Off volunteers gather every month on the third Sunday to assemble 200+ dinners to be distributed to the needy.
When you volunteer with Community Outreach Partnership you will meet people just like you and people totally different from you.
We are all ages, races, ethnic backgrounds, education and income levels, the employed and unemployed, religious believers, as well as those who are unaffiliated with any faith.
Whoever we are, we share the belief that every volunteer’s single act of compassionate helping can make a difference,
and that there is personal joy in giving back of whatever time and talents we have to those who need them.
