Ben’s rich hospitality career includes cooking demonstrations as he did on the TV show “People are Talking,” for which he was awarded a “Best of Philly.” Most recently, and for two years running, he coordinated Jim Furyk’s Exelon Invitational, our area’s only PGA professional tournament. He is a certified executive chef with a degree from the renowned Culinary Institute in Hyde Park, New York. After working in establishments from the British Virgin Islands to Wyoming, Ben settled back in the Philadelphia area where he was born and raised. He spent over 15 years at the old Sugarloaf Conference Center in Chestnut Hill, first as the executive chef, and then as the food and beverage manager. There he realized that even more than cooking, his true forte was managing people and events.

 Most recently, Ben held leadership roles at the Glenhardie Country Club in Wayne; at the prestigious ACE Club in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania; and at Ron Jaworski’s newest venture, Running Deer Golf Club in South Jersey. Currently, Ben lives in Blue Bell in the western suburbs of Philadelphia, with his wife and two children.
