"The Paris Wife,"
by Paula McLain
is a fictionalized telling of Ernest Hemingway and his first wife, Hadley, their courtship and the years they spent in Paris during the 1920s. The novel is filled with the Hemingway's culturally-charged circle of friends, including Gertrude Stein, F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald and Ezra Pound. Called "rich and provocative" by the Washington Post, "The Paris Wife" has become a favorite of book clubs nationwide.
