ABS, CORE n’ MORE - Instructor: Peg Galvan
In just a few minutes change the way you work your abs and see results! Emphasis is on proper form and a variety of exercises targeting the midsection and focusing on balancing the abs, obliques and core. Excellent for beginners.
ACTIVE ISOLATED STRETCH – The Mattes Method - Instructors: Laura Dugan and Peg Galvan
A dynamic method of stretch based on the concept of holding a stretch for no longer than 2 seconds to optimally lengthen the target muscle. Isolated stretch targets all the major muscles of the body as well as tendon, vertebra ligaments and joints leading to improvements in posture, injury prevention and rehabilitation. Great for golfers!
BODY & SOUL CYCLE – Instructor: Susan Foley
Cardio class designed for fat-burning and strength training where you can lose yourself in the music, energy and mind/body experience.All levels welcome. Experience spin in a whole new way.
BOOT CAMP – Instructor: Justin Trent
Back to the basics! This cross-training interval class will combine calisthenics, drills, and cardio for a challenging, not in-your-face total body workout. This is a great workout for cardiovascular fitness and muscular strength and endurance. Designed as a high intensity class for Members who want to take their fitness level up a notch.
GET FIT - Instructor: Sharyn Zeppo
This class is for all fitness levels and will include resistant training with weight and bands, as well as cardio and core. Perfect class forMembers to get started on a good fitness program.
LITE N’ FIT - Instructor: Susan Foley
Enjoy an hour of energizing low-impact exercises utilizing small dumbbells and bands designed to strengthen muscles, improve balance and increase flexibility. Great for people with arthritis, fibromyalgia or beginners, but all levels are welcomed! Great for first-time Members or those coming back to fitness after a period of inactivity.
PILATES – Instructors: Georgie Bihari and Gail Burdyshaw
A co-ed class designed for the total body. With core strengthening and flexibility, this class can improve your golf swing. Planks,pushups, various abdominal and back moves designed to strengthen, prevent injury and increase flexibility. Instruction is provided to benefit beginners as well as challenge those who have been practicing Pilates for years.
SPINNING – Instructors: Mary Murphy and Krissy Zgonc
Ride a stationary bike with a group, but get an individual workout. Experience virtual hills, flat land and all sorts of intervals. Excellent workout for burning calories while keeping your muscles and body in shape. Bring a towel and water bottle. All levels welcome. Great class for Members who want a good cardio workout, but easy on the joints.
SPIN INTERVAL - Instructor: Krissy Zgonc
The best of both cycling and weight training. You will lift weights as well as do core work on the floor. All levels welcome.
TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING – WEIGHTS - Instructor: Peg Galvan
A high energy, total body workout using free weights and bands to develop all the major muscle groups. A combination of exercises mixing intensity, speed and duration. Applying this exercise concept is the most effective method for achieving muscle strength and endurance. A very challenging class designed for Members who are active and fit.
WATER AEROBICS - Instructor: Bonnie Victor
The focus of this class is on cardio and core work using the water for resistance. Body alignment, flexibility, cardio and core work without stressing the joints. YOU MUST BE A HOTEL POOL MEMBER to take the class at the indoor pool. All levels welcome.
WEIGHTS/CARDIO BLAST – Instructors: Debbie Rotondo and Sharyn Zeppo
A great class for anyone wishing to firm and tone their muscles. Free weights are used to build and define while mixing in some cardio for increased endurance and improved cardio health. A very challenging class designed for Members who are active and fit.
YOGA - Instructors: Tina DiCillo, Joanne Nettis and Anne Ondrey
A total body exercise that focuses on physical postures, breathing exercises and meditation to help provide participants with improved physical fitness, mental clarity, greater self-understanding, stress control and general well-being. All levels welcome.
YOGILATES – Instructor: Gail Burdyshaw
This class is a unique combination of weights, Yoga, and Pilates using core training techniques. This class builds on balance, flexibility and strength. All levels welcome.
ZUMBA - Instructor: Georgie Bihari
A one-hour aerobic workout that combines Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to give you a fun, energizing workout! The routines combine interval high low rhythms and resistance training to tone and sculpt your body, all while burning calories and having fun. All levels welcome.
1st SATURDAY YOGA – Instructor: Anne Ondrey
Tina DiCillo and Anne Ondrey alternate months with this hatha yoga class. Based on aligning the body and opening the mind, this class is good for all levels. Start your weekend right!
