Kelly joined the Club in August, 2017 and comes to us from 11 years with the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort. At the Renaissance, she began as a Catering / Convention Services Manager and worked her way up through the department, ending her time there as the Director of Catering / Conference Services and Event Sales, managing a team of Catering Managers and Event Planners for the St. Johns County Convention Center.
Kelly moved to Florida in January, 2001 and within her first few weeks she accepted a position as the Social and Recreation Director with Queen’s Harbour's POA, so her career path has brought her back to her ‘roots’. If you lived in the neighborhood and had young children from 2001 – 2003, you probably met her during one of the many community events she planned or possibly during the summer camp or swim team programs she ran. Now, her responsibilities for the Club include private event marketing, social media campaigns and advertising but her primarily role is event sales, planning and management. Originally from Wisconsin, Kelly now lives in St. Augustine with her husband, Eric and their two boys, Evan and Colin.
When Kelly is not working, you’ll find her enjoying time with her family, volunteering at her kids school, catching up with friends (usually over a glass of wine) or cheering on her beloved Green Bay Packers – but not necessarily in that order! If you would like to discuss a private event you’re interested in hosting at the Club, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kelly, she’d love to work with you!
