It is expected that members of Shady Valley Golf Club, their friends, family members and business associates will choose to dress in a fashion benefitting the surroundings and atmosphere provided in the setting of the club. The club reserves the right to deny access to anyone improperly dresses and appreciates your cooperation.
Members and all guests are responsible for understanding and agreeing to adhere to the dress code policy while on premises. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Shirts are to be tucked in unless attire is specifically designed otherwise. Denim is not allowed on the course, however can be worn in the dining area with the exception of the Wilemon Room. Cutoffs, halter tops, bare midriff tops, revealing, torn/tattered clothing, wind/jogging suits or t-shirts are not permissible. Swimwear shall not be allowed in the clubhouse at any time. Dress code for children should be keeping with standards set for adults. Only soft spiked golf shoes are permitted.
Golf course attire shall be worn on the golf course, driving range, practice greens and shall be defined as follows:
- Men: Shirt must have collar or mock turtleneck and must be tucked in
- Women: Shirt must have collar or sleeves or both. Skirt, slacks, skort or golf shorts must be of appropriate length
- Juniors: Same as adult golfers
Any violations of dress code should be reported to a member of the management staff and will be handled by the club at its discretion.
