The reinvention of the Silicon Valley Capital Club with its $2.8 million renovation is giving Chef Michael Miller the opportunity to shine. His past awards as a Michelin Star chef have provided him a well-deserved reputation as a creative and wonderfully skilled culinarian. His recent experience at the Capital Club is providing Michael with great insights into our membership and their desires for innovative and constantly changing culinary options.
From Michael’s initial offerings of the weekly “Small Plate Special Menus,” to his ties to local farms for “Farm to Table” produce, to his use and drying of fresh herbs, to his use of prime “grass-fed” beef, Michael continues to look for new ways to” WOW” our members and guests. The club reinvention with our new dining options brings Chef Michael’s newest concepts to the forefront. The Founders Room diners will experience monthly changing menus with the freshest ingredients from the local areas; the Anytime Lounge featuring the “Classic Comfort Foods” with a modern twist; and the Private Event’s menus offering the quality associated with the “Place to Be in Silicon Valley:” the Capital Club is now the Epicurean place to be in Silicon Valley.
Chef Michael continues to investigate current trends and is experimenting with concepts from Sous Vide and Molecular Gastronomy cooking techniques. At the same time he is expanding his access to local farms, seafood, and organic options. It will only get better.
