Bruce brings more than 20 years of hospitality experience to the Capital Club, having worked in convention/resort hotels, convention centers, restaurants, race tracks, museums, night clubs, theaters and even his own catering company. He comes to us most recently from Starwood Hotels, where he was the Director of Food and Beverage at the 1,000-room Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina.
Bruce is truly excited to be at the Capital Club and in an environment where he can interact with the Members. It’s also a chance for him to establish himself within the Silicon Valley community where he is a part of the San Jose Downtown Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce.
Following his graduation from the University of Denver with a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management and an MBA, Bruce’s career has taken him throughout the United States, Mexico and Fiji. Quickly adapting to Silicon Valley with its mild climate and green vegetation, he looks forward to being an active member of the community and this great private business club.
In his free time, Bruce enjoys riding his bicycle along the picturesque trails of San Jose. Bruce is married and has two children. He continues to commute back and forth from Southern California periodically until his son graduates high school.
