I have been involved in the Hospitality industry of over 3 decades, operating significant food, beverage and retail operations and taking care guest's every need. My grandparents started an Italian Spaghetti and Steak House in Winter Park, Florida in 1948, that became heralded throughout the state as one of the finest dining locations for over 40 years. Everyone of my family members did there time there, I ended up falling in love with the business.
Today, as General Manager of the merged Skyline Club and Skyline Club Fitness Center, I have full Club responsibilities for our over 1,000 Members. I came on board in August 2007 as General Manager of both Renaissance Club and Skyline Club. In November 2010, we announced the merger of the 2 Clubs to form one. From this move, we are proudly creating new Member experiences but not forgetting the past.
Before joining ClubCorp and Skyline Club, I was with Levy Restaurants where I ran 2 world class entertainment and sporting venues, The Verizon Center in Washington D.C. and Churchill Downs. At the Verizon Center we were the home location for the NBA's Washington Wizards, the NHL's Washington Capitals, the WNBA's Washington Mystics and the NCAA's Georgetown Hoyas men's basketball team. The Verizon Center hosted 2 NCAA Regional Tournaments and was one of the nations top grossing venues for concerts as ranked by Billboard Magazine.
At Churchill Downs, my responsibilities included premium level service and food & beverage revenues for all locations throughout Churchill Downs. Areas included 78 Premium suites, 12 Finish Line luxury suites, Private Members Club, all Private Event spaces, concessions and Group Sales areas.
My wife Vicki and I have two wonderful girls, Rebecca and Elizabeth, both with aspirations to support their Father & Mother in a preferred luxury after they complete their many years of education
