More than a Club: the focal point of connecting our growing community for more than 15 years

After years of planning, the Club opened in 1988 as The Flying M Ranch with the vision to be the premier golf and country club community of North Texas. The developers commissioned Pete Dye to select any plot of land for his design and they would build the development around it. The accolades from Golf Digest as one of the “Best Golf Courses in the Nation” help to bring focus to the quality of life that could be expected. The challenge of the 18-hole Pete Dye signature course and versatility of the championship Arthur Hills-designed course at The Ranch have offered fun and excitement for all ages and skill levels. The addition of holes 19 to 27 on The Hills course in 1999 gave even more flexibility and value for our Members.

Stonebridge Ranch has played host to several prestigious tournaments over the years including the AJGA Team Championships in 1990, 1991, 1992, NCAA Championships in 1994, Texas State Open in 1997 and 1998, and U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier. Most recently, Stonebridge Director of Golf Perry Arthur was able to bring the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournaments for 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 to our Club. The North Texas PGA Championships was also held at the Dye Course for 2003. A unique event that was also held in 1991 was the first World Music Invitational featuring both music and golf celebrities from around the globe.

The Stonebridge Clubhouse, which resembles a Victorian Castle, was built in 1988. The moment one passes through the beveled-glass double doors, the outside world is left behind. The clubhouse creates a special magic that exudes warm elegance and refinement in every detail. The superb cuisine, personal service and spectacular panoramic views make fine dining an art at Stonebridge. Imagine relaxing over a marvelous meal while looking out over the Pete Dye Signature Course. The inside of the clubhouse is decorated with dark woods and plush carpeting. The decor truly gives the Club an opulent character. Across the street from the clubhouse, one can find the Dye Course pro shop, the tennis shop and pool, as well as the cottages. The second floor of the Stonebridge Clubhouse is made up of private rooms that are perfect for meetings and private parties as well as member events.

The Ranch Clubhouse in contrast to the Stonebridge Clubhouse prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere and family amenities. Recently renovated, the Ranch has new carpeting, new chairs and new fixtures. The clubhouse boasts a pro shop, mixed grill dining room, main dining room, Men’s 19th Hole, workout facility, locker rooms and a kids’ club. Come by and take a seat at one of the window tables that offer a great view of the Arthur Hills Golf Course.
