Our experienced golf instructors at The Ranch are dedicated to growing the game through Junior Golf. We have a unique passion for the sport that shines through in all our programs, whether your child is new to the game or an advanced player. Our Directors of Instruction work closely with juniors of all ages to ensure they receive the attention needed to foster a lifelong love for the game.
Learn the game
Junior Golf Camps are a great way for juniors to develop the basics of the golf swing. All fundamentals will be taught during each session, including full swing, putting, chipping, pitching and course etiquette. Participants are broken into groups based on age and skill level, and are given instruction tailored to their needs, receiving more than eight hours of instruction and lunch daily.

What do Campers need to bring?
Please bring tennis shoes, socks, t-shirts, shorts or tennis skirts. A hat or visor is recommended. No jogging shoes, jeans or cut-offs are allowed. Bring your racquet, golf clubs, swimsuits and a towel. Junior racquets and clubs will be available to borrow for camp. Please request to borrow when registering for camp.

Stonebridge Junior Knights
This is an entry-level program and is recommended for kid’s ages 5-12 that are either beginning golf or are somewhat new to golf. This is a group-setting environment. The students meet twice a week for 45 minutes and will be taught, everything from rules, etiquette, putting, chipping, pitching, bunkers, full swing, and will play on the course. Students can choose to come once or twice a week. Group meets Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Cost: $100 – 1X per week per month or $150- 2X per week per month
Stonebridge Junior Golf Academy
This program will be designed around kids with similar abilities. Recommended for kids that can play 9 holes on their own, carrying their own bag. Ages 11-18 recommended, but playing ability and score is the main requirement. Kids will meet twice a week for 1 ½ hours each day. Putting through course management will be taught.

USA Junior National Team Developmental I
The Developmental I Program, a 3-month (12 week) training program designed for new and developing junior golfers, is the first of five levels in the USA Junior National Program. Group-based activities are overseen by Certified USA Junior National Coaches. Developmental participants take part in structured weekly training sessions designed especially for technical golf instruction, sport performance, and fitness. Participants will be grouped by experience as they work to achieve the benchmarks necessary to enter the Developmental II program. Participants will also participate in on-course learning activities.
12 one-hour sessions (one per week)

USA Junior National Team Developmental II
The Developmental II Program, a 4 ½ month (18 week) training program designed for juniors entering the competitive phase, is the second of five levels in the USA Junior National Program. Group-based instruction is overseen by Certified USA Junior National Coaches.
Developmental participants take part in structured weekly training sessions designed to improve technical golf skills, sport performance, and fitness. As they work, participants will be grouped by experience as they work to achieve the benchmarks necessary to enter the Future Stars program. Participants will have numerous opportunities to implement their skills during on-course activities. Students meet twice a week for a total of
2 ½ hours per week. Students receive a dozen USA national team balls, hat and a manual. Developmental II participants must remain active in local golf competitions. Juniors should have a desire to learn and participate in a team sport setting.

USA Junior National Team Future Stars
The Future Stars program, a 7 month (28 week) training program designed specifically for juniors seeking a structured golf-training environment, is the third of five levels in the USA Junior National Program. Training is conducted in small groups by Certified USA Junior National Coaches. Future Stars participate in structured weekly training sessions to fine-tune their technical golf skills, sport performance, and fitness. Participants will also have numerous opportunities to implement their skills during o-course activities. Attitude, work ethic, and the desire to participate in a team sport setting are important for Future Stars participants. Future Stars are expected to display a passion for the game and have experience in competitive golf events. Juniors should have a desire to learn and work hard. Future Stars should score from the low to mid 80’s to low 90’s in competition, or have a USGA handicap index between 10.0 and 18.0. Age is not a determining factor in participant selection, but training is targeted to juniors age 11 and above.
Each member of the Future Stars Team will receive an Individualized Player Development Manual, USA National Team hat, USA National Team balls and USA National Team golf bag.
Future Stars participants are eligible to attend Regional USA National Training Camps on a space available basis.

USA Junior National Pre-Elite Team
The Pre-Elite programs, an 8-month (32 week) training program designed specifically for juniors seeking a structured golf-training environment, is the fourth of five levels in the USA Junior National Program. Training is conducted in small groups by Certified USA Junior National Coaches. Pre-Elite Team members participate in structured weekly training sessions to fine-tune their technical golf skills, sport performance, and fitness. Participants will also have numerous opportunities to implement their skills during on-course activities. The coaching staff will also observe team members performance in tournaments as well. Pre-Elite team members will also have the opportunity to play in matches against other regional teams throughout the season. Attitude, work ethic, and the desire to participate in a team sport setting are important for Pre-Elite participants. Team members are expected to display a passion for the game and have experience in competitive golf events. Juniors should have a desire to learn and work hard. Pre-Elite Team members have documented competitive success on the local and state levels. Pre-Elite Team Members should score from the mid 70’s to 80’s in competition or have a USGA handicap index between 4.0 and 10.0. Age is not a determining factor in team selection. Students will work out once a week with a trainer, but are required to work out 2 times a week minimum on their own. Students meet twice a week for two hours and once on their workout day.
Each member of the Pre-Elite Team will receive an individual Player Development Manual, USA National Team hat, and USA National Team golf bag and USA National Team golf balls.

USA Junior National Elite Team
Selection to the Regional Elite Team is an honor reserved for the most talented, polished and hard-working individuals. Our Regional Elite Team members are LEADERS and CHAMPIONS both on and off the course. USA National Team Coaches invite prospective Elite Team members based on their performance in USA National Golf Camps or national junior tournaments. Our Elite Team members enjoy competitive success at the local, state and national levels. Elite Team Members score from the mid 60’s to 70’s in competition and have a USGA handicap index below 5.0. Coaching sessions are led by Certified USA National Team coaches at all times. Elite Team Members are also eligible to qualify for and compete in Regional and International Team Matches. Our International tournaments in 2014 are in Scotland, China, and Canada. These tournaments are all expense paid trips and the students represent all of USA Junior National Teams.
Each member of the Elite Team will receive an Individualized Player Development Manual, USA National Team hat, and USA National Team golf bag and USA National Team golf balls. Team members also receive metal woods, irons, wedges, hybrids and putter along with USA Jr. Team clothing.
Elite participants are eligible to attend Regional USA National Training Camps on a space available basis. These camps are typically offered in the winter twice a year in warm weather locations and are open to all Elite Team athletes. Students meet twice a week for 2 hours. Also students meet once a week with a trainer, but are also expected to workout a minimum two times on their own.

The USA Junior National Golf Program is offered at golf courses throughout the United States and is the first nationwide junior developmental program in the US.
This program is open to Junior Golfers ages 6 & up. It is for that Junior Golfer who loves the game and is looking to learn. All facets of the game will be taught. The Academy includes two 45-minute classes per week. Each Junior will receive a bag tag and towel. Cost for the first month is $200 and $150 thereafter. The class size is limited to allow for personalized attention. Classes and instructors will be added based on participation.

College Prep Academy
This program is designed to prepare Juniors for a higher level of tournament play based on intense course management and situational play. The College Prep Academy is $350 per month and includes three 45-minute individual lessons and two 9-hole playing lessons.
Throughout the summer months, we work with other Clubs and Junior Programs to schedule home and away interclub competitions. The schedule varies as to the day of the week and time.
