Graduated from Bluefield College in 1994 with a BS in Business Administration. Chris played on the golf team there for all four years. Happily married to Cristina, who is originally from Romania. Chris and Christina have a son, Nicklaus, who was born in 2008 and a white boxer named Sooner.

Prior to becoming the Director of Golf at Stonebridge Ranch, Chris was employed by Touchstone Golf as the General Manager and Head Golf Professional at South Padre Island Golf Club. From January 2007 until December of 2013 Chris was the General Manager and Head Golf Professional at Murder Rock Golf Club in Branson Missouri. Chris came to Murder Rock during construction and handled the oversight of the 12,000 square foot clubhouse and all aspects of pre-opening the semi-private facility. Murder Rock was voted to the “Best New Courses” by Golf Digest following opening in October of 2007 and remained on the list through 2010. Chris’ route to Branson ran through Pass Christian, Mississippi where he was the Project Director at The Oaks Golf Club, from 2002 until January 2006 where he was relocated due to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Prior to Mississippi, Chris worked as the head golf professional at Meadowbrook Farms, in Katy, TX, where he spent most of his time as a teaching professional. Prior to his move West, Chris worked with the development of Grandover Resort in Greensboro North Carolina, a 36 hole resort with an on-site four star hotel. While in Greensboro, Chris also worked with the Ken Venturi Golf Academies.

Chris graduated from the GPTP in March of 1999 and is a Class A Member in good standing with the PGA of America. This March marked Chris’ eighteen year anniversary in the PGA of America.

During Chris’ tenure with KemperSports in Branson, he was the recipient of the “ParClub” Award for two years in a row. This is an award given to any GM who finishes the year better than budget projections!

Recipient of Touchstone Golf General Manager of the Year Award for 2015.
