Co-sponsored with the City Club of Washington, this seminar offers those interested in legal careers, law students, and new and mid-career lawyers sure-fire strategies for cracking the toughest job market in 80 years; tips on enhancing one's credentials to maximize job and career opportunities; twenty-one effective job search techniques to improve one's competitive status; and 800+ areas of employment inside, outside and around the traditional practice of law.
The seminar will include a networking happy hour.
RICHARD L. HERMANN received his JD from
Cornell Law School, his MA from the New School University, and his BA from Yale
and is a Concord Law School professor teaching the only legal career management
course in the U.S. He co-founded Federal Reports, Inc., the leading provider of
legal career information in the U.S., and AttorneyJobs.com. He is a legal career
consultant with over 30 years of experience in career counseling of attorneys.
Early in his career as an attorney, Hermann was a senior legal consultant to the
U.S. Departments of Defense, Justice and Energy, and the Federal Emergency
Management Agency. He is the author of more than 20 books on legal
careers.
